The grating displacement sensor installation more flexible, can be installed in different parts of machine tool. In general the main ruler is installed on the machine ( slide ), random walk the knife moving bed, reading head is fixed on the bed, as far as possible to make the reading head is mounted at the lower part of the main ruler. Installation

Installation of grating displacement sensor, not directly to the sensor installed in the rough machine body, more can not be installed on the machine body of priming paint. Grating ruler and the reading head are respectively arranged on the two components of the machine tool on the relative motion. With the main ruler mounting surface and the guide rail movement stage micrometer inspection machine direction parallelism. Dial indicator is fixed on the bed, table, required to achieve parallelism within 0.1mm/1000mm. If you can not meet this requirement, need to design a grating ruler. Base requires: (1) should be added to the base with a grating ruler body of equal length ( the best base long grating 50mm ). ( 2 ) the base by milling, grinding, ensure the parallelism of 0.1mm/1000mm within the plane. In addition, the reading head base is also required for processing a piece with the ruler body base level. Base base and the ruler reading head of the total error not greater than± 0.2mm. When installing, adjusting the reading head position, achieve the reading head and the grating ruler body parallelism is about 0.1mm, the spacing between the reading head and the grating ruler body is about 1~1.5mm.

The main ruler is installed

The grating ruler with M4 screws on the workbench machine installation mounting surface, but do not tighten, the dial indicator is fixed on the bed, the mobile station ( mobile ruler and work at the same time ). Parallelism with dial indicator measuring ruler plane and the motion of machine tool guideway orientation, adjustment of the main ruler M4 screw position, make the main feet parallel to meet 0.1mm/1000mm, the M2 screws tightened completely. In the installation of grating ruler, should pay attention to the following three points: ( 1 ) in the main ruler, grating as more than 1.5M installed, not like the bridge type only installation ends, still need to have the support of the main ruler body. ( 2 ) in the base case is installed, it is best to use a clip stuck the ruler body midpoint ( or a few ). ( 3 ) cannot be installed clip, best to use glass glue grating ruler body, make the ruler and the main ruler is fixed.

Reading head installation

In the installation of the reading head, if it is found that the installation conditions are very limited, can consider the use of accessories, such as aluminum angle, straight, should guarantee the reading head surface to reach the installation requirements, and then install the reading head, the installation method is similar with the main ruler. Finally, adjust the reading head, so the reading head and the grating ruler parallel degree guarantees within the 0.1mm, the reading head and the main ruler clearance control within 1~1.5mm. After installation, you can use the thumb contact the reading head and the grating ruler body surface is smooth, flat.

Limiting device

After the grating displacement sensor are installed, must limit device is installed in the machine tool guide rail, so as to avoid the machine product moves the reading head collision to the main ruler at both ends, so as to damage the grating ruler. In addition, users in the purchase of grating displacement sensor, should try to use beyond the grating machine size of about 100mm, with the left margin.

Sensor check

Grating linear displacement sensor is installed, can be connected to digital form, the mobile worktable, observation of digital display meter count is normal. Select a reference position in machine work, moving back and forth to the selected location. Digital display meter readings should be the same ( or zero ). Can also use the dial gauge ( or dial indicator ), the dial gauge with digital display at the same time to zero ( or memory of initial data ), return back to the initial position after several times of observation, digital display table and dial gauge data is consistent. Through the above work, the grating line displacement sensor installation is complete. But for the machining environment in general, more iron, cutting fluid and oil. Therefore, the sensor should be attached with the shield, the shield is designed according to the shape of cross section sensor amplification space size must determine, shield usually adopts the rubber seal, which has the ability of waterproof and oil.
